Pražská vodohospodářská společnost a.s. obtained three important Integrated Management System certificates at the start of December 2004. The renowned agency Lloyd's Register EMEA testified that PVS satisfied demands of the Quality Management System pursuant to ISO 9001, Environmental Management System pursuant to ISO 14001 and Occupational Health and Safety Management pursuant to specifications of OHSAS 18001. This ended a one-and-a-half-year-long process of supplementations and modifications of internal procedures and guidelines, their harmonization and subsequent testing in the actual operation.
As the certificates are valid for three years, the company underwent a re-certification audit by Lloyd's Register EMEA in November 2007, which resulted in issuance of new certificates pursuant to ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:1999.
Within a control audit in November 2008, the company transferred to the new OHSAS 18001:2007 certificate and PVS a.s. thus acquired a new certificate with UKAS accreditation for ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 as a substitute for the non-accredited certificate OHSAS 18001:1999.
One year later, i.e. in November 2009, issuance of a new certificate in conformity with the reviewed standard ISO 90001:2008, together with ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 was proposed. The certificate was valid until 2nd December 2010.
The second re-certification audit took place at the end of November 2010 and awarded PVS a.s. the ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 certificates valid until 2nd December 2013.
The third certification audit took place in October 2013 and awarded PVS a.s. the mentioned quality management certificates again.
